2018 Chapchar Kut MSU:SASRD, Nagaland University

Chapchar Kut, 2018 was celebrated by the students of Mizo Students' Union: SASRD, Nagaland University on 10.03.2018 (Saturday) as this day was convenient for all. Many non-Mizo friends have joined the community in celebrating their biggest cultural festival.

Copy to: All my family members and friends who asked me to wrap up my thesis work saying I only need a couple of weeks to compile. I appreciate your concern.         If I had to pen-down three things I’d like to accomplish before I take my last gasp, this would certainly have its place – “To share (not any stuff that has the potential to damage the feeling of anyone) all the things I've learned to the world”.         I used to compose so many things inside my head as a young boy. Are human beings meant to spend our entire time in learning new things? How much longer do we need to see the difference between the results of the works done out of compulsion and out of passion? But, as humans, aren’t we also meant to sacrifice our passions for security, love, and family, too? The choice is yours; the decision is yours to make. Yes, today was Sunday. And yes, we’re ready to move out. The weather was just perfect for travelling. Meanwhile, back at home in Mizoram, people were having a hard time due to the 2nd wave of winter’s blows. We had 2 choices here - to let our minds get dragged, or to have some fun with a thought of visiting new place in mind. We chose the latter. We didn’t regret. Pavithra was facetiming with her little kid. I tried to barge in, but the little kid was too busy with something else.
