Let's fly to Meghalaya - Sasrdians

Some selected students of Department of Agricultural Extension and Department of Agricultural Economics have experienced one of the most exciting study tours the college has ever conducted.

May these memories be never forgotten

Our train (Nagaland Express) was scheduled to depart at 9:45 pm. We reached Dimapur so early that we roamed around the city for more than an hour. This was the hotel where we had had our  dinner.

This Professor was the roommate of our Economics course in charge, Dr. Sanjoy Das during their college days in Assam Agricultural University. He shared about how his student's paper (of CPGS, Barapani) was selected as the best paper for the seminar in Japan. That student will be getting ₹65,000 and a trip to Japan along with his father. He explained to us how important it is to maintain consistency in all the things we do. He told us how important it is for agricultural students to not deviate from agriculture line.

Scientist of Agricultural Extension. Brief lecture just before leaving for Guwahati. "A lot of people make mistakes in preparing for NET. Study the objectives first. Try to know what type of questions come from particular topics. Study accordingly. People usually study the opposite way...."

We reached at around 7 am. We roamed the whole. Don't judge us, peeeepul

Library of North Eastern Council, Shillong

No Meghalayan on board. We no understand. We drink tea only.

The best part of this trip was the gathering after dinner. This was the first night. We talked mostly about Students' Union stuff. I left in the middle. And on the second night we played some games such as - 1) what is your biggest fear? 2) What character of yours would you trade with the character of the person sitting in front of you? 3) If you didn't have any expectations and if you weren't scared.... What would you do now?, etc

???   Recheck the other pics. These two....   :)

Dawki Bridge. According to Lima: This bridge is built by French engineers many years ago. The amazing thing about this is that it has never been under any reparation.

I and Archana went to a shop next to this. Since we're having breakfast with the teachers (and since they were the ones paying) we ordered a plate of puri, bread and omelet. "What did you guys have"  Soup chow, momo, tea, coffee, etc. etc. Look at them happy faces. :D
